The Hate U Give tells a story of a a young girl named Starr who witnesses a policeman shoot her unarmed friend claiming that a comb he was having looked like a gun .Starr is torn two worlds but tries to seek justice for her bestfriend while sensitizing people on the injustices happening to the black community.
