A remake of the 70s show bearing the same name. Jim Bennett is a literature professor by day and a compulsive high stakes gambler by night going from bad to worse. He bets it all when he borrows money from a gangster offering his life as collateral. When one of his students discovers his secret life, they form a deeper connection but risks it all for a second chance with her when he messes up the first time.
